CPA & SANS Compliant Trade Guarantee
These Terms of Service are drafted in strict compliance with the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA No. 68 of 2008), SANS 10254 plumbing standards, and SANS 10142 electrical wiring standards. By booking our services, you agree to the following terms.
1. Pricing, "R0 Call-Out," & Quotes
Zero Call-Out Fee Conditions: Our R0 Call-Out Fee applies within our defined northern suburbs service area (Sandton, Fourways, Bryanston, Randburg, Midrand, and surrounding suburbs) upon professional onsite diagnosis.
Pre-Approved Estimates: In compliance with the CPA, no repair or installation work will begin until the customer has received and approved an upfront transparent quote.
2. Emergency Response & Site Access
60-Minute Response: Our rapid emergency dispatch window applies to urgent residential and commercial callouts within Johannesburg North. Arrival times are subject to extreme weather, load-shedding traffic disruptions, or municipal road closures.
Safe Access: Customers are responsible for providing safe, unobstructed access to the DB board, main water meter, roof cavity, or geyser installation area.
3. Payment Terms & Options
Settlement upon Completion: Payment is due immediately upon completion and sign-off of the trade work or compliance testing.
Accepted Methods: Mobile card machines (Visa / Mastercard), instant EFT, SnapScan, or official corporate billing (for pre-approved commercial accounts).
4. Workmanship Guarantee & Warranties
12-Month Workmanship Guarantee: SureFix Solutions guarantees all new installations for 12 months, and standard maintenance repairs for 6 months.
Parts & Materials: Sourced parts (Kwikot / Heat Tech geysers, CBI breakers, Schneider components) carry full manufacturer warranties alongside statutory CPA guarantees.
5. Certificates of Compliance (CoC)
Official Testing: Electrical CoC inspection covers comprehensive testing against SANS 10142-1. If safety deviations are discovered, remedial work must be executed prior to certificate issuance in accordance with South African law.
